Get introduced to several approaches to portraiture. Learn the basic elements of portrait composition, including subject lighting and framing. Discover how lighting the subject can enhance the mood of the portrait. Learn five common camera angles and how they affect your portrait. There will be a field trip to provide you with the opportunity to gain experience in outdoor portraiture.
 
Prerequisite: Students need to have an understanding of camera functions and terminology. Bring a camera and a fully charged battery to class.
