Unlock your musical potential through personalized, one-on-one instruction with acclaimed guitarist and educator Randy Bahr. With over 45 years of experience as a performer, session guitarist, and instructor, Bahr brings a wealth of knowledge in many styles, including jazz, blues, rock, soul, and country to each lesson. These hour-long sessions are designed for dedicated students from beginning to advanced levels and open to pick and fingerstyle players on electric and acoustic guitars. Lessons offer individualized support to help students develop technical skills, musicality, and creative expression. A Berklee College of Music alumnus, Bahr has studied with legendary artists such as Pat Martino, Lenny Breau, and Tal Farlow. He has taught at institutions including St. Charles Community College, Columbia College, St. Louis Community College, and the University of Missouri. As an active performer, Bahr has played across the U.S. and internationally and has been a studio guitarist in Honolulu, Los Angeles, and the Midwest. While his primary focus is jazz guitar, Bahr helps students at all levels really understand the instrument and gain a solid foundation in music theory and improvisation.
