Advanced Musical Theatre Audition Lab (Grades 8-12)

The Advanced Musical Theatre Audition Lab is designed to prepare performers for high school, collegiate, and professional audition settings. Students will refine audition book selections, strengthen vocal technique, and deepen storytelling through song with focused work on acting beats, intention, and specificity. Emphasis will be placed on professional etiquette, preparation strategies, and presenting confidently in the room. The course also includes a dance audition component, where students will learn and perform choreography in a mock audition setting, sharpening musicality, retention speed, precision, and performance quality. The session will conclude with an in-class performance showcasing selected material.
