The Director's Chair (Grades 8-12)

The Director's Chair introduces students to the core concepts and responsibilities of theatrical directing. Through a mix of lecture and hands-on group exercises, students will analyze scenes and practice communicating artistic choices. Students will take turns directing peers in short scenes, developing leadership, collaboration, and rehearsal skills. The session will end with a short, in-class presentation of selected scenes.
