« back to classes page

Herbs were once defined as a “useful plant.” That definition would include everything out in our garden! We’ve come to understand herbs as any plant with leaves, seeds, roots, or flowers used for flavoring, food, medicine, or perfume.

In this class, Master Gardener Victoria Gally will explore the world of herbs and discuss five key ways to use them. Topics will include medicinal and wellness benefits, aromatic uses, beauty applications, how to grow herbs, tips for harvesting and storing them, and their culinary uses. Presented by the University of Missouri Extension – Saint Charles Master Gardeners
