Lustron House History

Experience Brinkers Lustron, an authentic Lustron house/restaurant. Constructed entirely of steel, with 2,500 built, these modest ranches were an answer to the severe housing shortage at the end of World War II. A Lustron home owner and preservationist will provide a tour of this home and the history of the Lustron Company and its devastating bankruptcy in 1950.
