Need to know how to protect your ideas, music, art, inventions, and more? Want to learn how to become “Patent Pending?” This class teaches about: 1) the different types of Intellectual Property (IP) available (i.e. patents, trademarks, copyrights, etc.) that provide protection for inventions, writings, art, and other original and creative work, 2) the length and type of protections granted under each filing, 3) how to avoid infringing on existing IPs or losing patent protection, and more. In addition, valuable information about how to submit some filings yourself under $100 via the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s (USPTO) website through their “pro-bono” and “self-help” services will be shared.
