Beat the winter blues with a fun-filled family day. Begin at the Third Degree Glass Factory in University City with a demonstration of the ancient process of glass blowing. Those who wish will have the opportunity to create their own unique glass paperweight, magnet or tile. Next, enjoy a glass of root beer with lunch at Fitz's Root Beer as you watch the bottling equipment at work through the glass windows. Finish the day at Shaw Park Skating Rink for ice skating, hot chocolate and cupcakes for dessert in a warm private party room. You may register some family members to create a glass object and others just to observe. Be sure to choose the correct class/price option.
