Eagle Days at Pere Marquette State Park

Bring your family as we take a beautiful drive down the great river road to visit Pere Marquette State Park in Grafton, Ill.  Celebrate the return of the wintering Bald Eagles!  Learn from a site interpreter about these amazing birds with wingspans of 6-8', what they eat, and why they spend winter months in the area and much more.  Take an observational drive to view the wintering bald eagles.  Enjoy lunch at Barefoot Restaurant in Hardin, IL where you will hopefully view more eagles through the telescopes on their back dack.   Dress warm and bring binoculars!  Families welcome.
