Skiing, Shopping, Spas, Oh My!

Join a group from Columbia, MO on a motorcoach trip to the picturesque town of Galena, Illinois.  This river town has something for everyone -- history, shopping, spas, and oh yes -- a ski resort!  Depart Friday morning, arriving in Galena in time to check into the Chestnut Mountain Ski Lodge and relax a few minutes before dinner at Vinny Vunnuchi's Little Italian Restaurant in town.  After dinner, choose to stay in town to enjoy the nightlife, return to the hotel to relax, or hit the slopes for an evening ski session!  Saturday choose to explore the town and rich local history on your own, join a group for a shopping and spa option (to include massage, manicure, and pedicure -- and wine, of course wine!), or choose a ski option, to include a group lesson for beginners.  Dinner on Saturday night at the Perry Street Brasserie, voted #2 restaurant in all of Illinois (opentable.com).  Sunday morning, meet in the hotel lobby and have breakfast before we begin our journey home.  Plan to arrive back in St. Charles at approximately 4pm, in Columbia at 5:30pm.
