Our first stop will be the 1830's historic stone home of Daniel Boone Hays. Next we will visit the home where Daniel Boone spent the last years of his life, a beautiful stone home owned by his son, Nathan Boone. The home and adjoining village offer a glimpse into what life was like for the Boone's and others living on the Missouri frontier. A picnic lunch in the pavilion overlooking the Village will be provided. After lunch we will visit the Village, a variety of historic buildings moved from the local area. Interpreters dressed in period clothing will demonstrate frontier skills such as woodworking, black powder shooting, land surveying, and the general store.
