Drone Ownership Workshop

CourseGraphic Learn how to safely fly a drone!  This workshop is taught by certified Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) remote pilots who will have drones to fly for hands-on introductory UAS/drone flight.  Experience First Person View (FPV) goggles, learn UAS/drone operations, safety and handling, deciding which US/drone works best for the job, commerical vs. recreation UAS, drone uses, flying legally and the responsibilities of flight, understanding the FAA, best overview of airspace and aeronautic charts, basic overview of weather, METARS and TAFS, FAA permission and flight waivers, risk mangement and safety, and information on additional training and education required to become an FAA 14 CFR, Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot in Command.
