This class will introduce students to the fundamentals of watercolor painting, including essential materials, color mixing, brush techniques, basic washes, wet-on-wet application, proper paper handling, and composition principles, allowing students to gain confidence in creating simple watercolor paintings while exploring the medium's unique qualities and transparency. Supply List

Please read:  Supplies: Sets of basic watercolors Cakes, tubes, pans, watercolor pencils (optional) Watercolor palette flat wells Watercolor paper or12x18 pad – 140 pound or greater Brushes: #1 or #2 liners, 1 inch flat, #8 or #10 round (or what you’ve been using) Small cosmetic sponges (1 or 2) Roll of paper towels Kneaded Eraser Masking tape or small bottle of masking fluid (optional) Copy to work from All supplies can be purchased at Hobby Lobby or Michael’s
