Senior QUEST: Human Trafficking Prevention - Identification & Reporting

ID : 22296

« back to classes page
Gateway Alliance Against Human Trafficking offers an introductory course teaching adults how to prevent human trafficking.  It features identification, risk factors, indicators, victimization, traffickers' objectives, reporting, and prevention.  Our mission is “to educate communities and inspire positive systemic change to end human trafficking,” with our vision noted as “creating a safe world for all children.”  Many people have likely encountered victims of human trafficking and been unaware of why they look or behave as they do, simply because they failed to recognize them as victims.

When people are properly informed about human trafficking, they know how to identify and respond to help stop it and save lives.
After a presentation, people will be able to recognize the "red flags" of human trafficking and know who to contact to investigate and ensure these victims have the opportunity to become safe.
